CURRENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

As Advocates In Motion grows by leaps and bounds, our search for extraordinary talent continues!  Currently we are searching for:

Treatment Providers / Waiver Support Coordinator (WSC) (Full or Part-Time)
The Treatment Provider (WSC) is responsible for assisting our developmentally disabled population in choosing and controlling their supports, services and budget in order to meet their goals and personal outcomes.  The successful candidate will have a strong background in case management, preferably in a developmental disability or mental health background.  At least two years of experience working in the social work field and a bachelor’s degree are required for consideration.  Full case loads (43 cases) or partial case loads (less than 43 cases) are available.  Ideal candidates are capable of building relationships quickly, are expert multi-taskers, and are detail-oriented regarding paperwork.

As Advocates In Motion expands we expect to shortly begin searching for talented individuals for the following positions:

Web Assistant (Full and Part-Time)
Advocates In Motion is one of the first support coordination agencies in the entire state of Florida to launch a website.  We have big plans for the web, which will include expansion into consumer driven research and e-commerce.  We are looking for individuals with at least two years experience working in the web environment with a basic knowledge of HTML and web protocols.  At least two years web experience in a professional environment is a must, along with at least a high school diploma.  This position may start as either part-time or full-time.

Case Managers (Full and Part-Time)
Our expansion plans include creating additional businesses like elder care and travel training.  We are looking for individuals interested in working one-on-one with the elderly or people with disabilities to help them become more independent.  Successful candidates will have at least one year working with these types of populations, and will have the ability to work a flexible schedule (some nights and weekends will be required).

We hope you will consider joining our team.  Please forward your resume (no phone calls please) to advocsinmotion@aol.com.  While we make every effort to contact all applicants, the volume of resumes we receive sometimes precludes us from speaking directly with everyone who applies.
